Scolari Gone, Who's Next?
"Big Phil" has left the building, he started in July and he's already departed, after a great career elsewhere (winning the world cup with the easy favourites) Scolari came in, not exactly ready for the challenge of Premiership Football, let alone a title challenging side.
Sad, we speculated Scolari to be "The real deal" from winning the world cup, sorry guys, but winning the world cup with easily the best team in the tournament, in Japan (where the European teams would be on harder more difficult grounds) was all he'd achieved, what does this say about his club abilities? Yeah not much really.
So who's next eh? Some saying Zola? Sorry guys, but Zola's a poor decision, Zola comes in to West Ham, and people are constantly questioning this to this day, Zola's talented, I'll give you that, but I'm told I'm a talented young Football Coach too, maybe I should get the job? No, a job like Chelsea needs more than talent and potential, you need to know what the hell your doing too.
Mancini? Hmm, he won Serie A when he had all the money in the world, with Italian football in the shitter. Hardly a great achievement, he wasn't good enough to be trusted with the job when it came to winning it big in Europe, why should we trust him?
Deschamps? No, what's he done? Reached the final with Monaco? Huge achivement I'll give you, but what's he done since then?
Di Matteo? Come on! Gimme a god damn break! He's second in the English League 1! That's the 3rd division! If were sacking a guy who managed us to 4th place and bringing in who couldn't even top League 1, we need shooting, especially if its just because he's a Chelsea legend.
Hiddink? Now Hiddink, fair enough, he's a good choice, I think so anyway, he's a smart guy, proven guy, I like Hiddink, and have learnt a lot from his teaching methods. He's the bookies favourite, I'd be happy with him.
